Barcode Scan Success & Error Notifications

    It is not always best to rely on a barcode scanner to notify you of successes and/or failures in a scan. With the following steps, you can prompt the POS to play certain sound notifications based on if a scan is successful or not.

    Error Sound
    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Select General Settings.
    3. In the Accessibility Settings section, select Computer error or Sad Trombone under BARCODE SCAN ERROR SOUND. Select None if you wish to disable the sound.
    4. Scroll down and press Save.

    Success Sound
    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Select General Settings.
    3. In the Accessibility Settings section, select Checkout beep under BARCODE SCAN SUCCESS SOUND. Select None if you wish to disable the sound.
    4. Scroll down and press Save.
