Claim All Tickets - Employees

In restaurants, when an employee such as a bartender or server clocks out for lunch or their shift, another employee will take over all the open tickets in the TABS section. 

In order to claim all the tickets under TABS, you will need to do the following:
  A. Enable a setting will need to be enabled in the backend.
  B. Enable a setting for the employee(s) who will have permission to claim all the tabs in a room/section.
  C. Claim all the tickets in a specific room.

Enable the CLAIM ALL Setting

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select the General Settings tab.

  3. Scroll down to the RFSM Specific App Tweaks section.

  4. Under ALLOW CLAIM ALL TABS BUTTON, select Enabled from the dropdown menu.

  5. Scroll down and press Save.


Assign CLAIM TABS Permission to Specific Employee(s)

  1. Go to Employees.

  2. Press the edit icon to the right of the employee you want to give this permission to.

  3. In the pop-up window, scroll down to POS Permissions.

  4. Under CLAIM TABS, press on the corresponding icon until it states YES.

  1. Press Save Changes.


Claim All Open Tabs

  1. In the POS, press TABS. Note the name next to Employee.

  2. Press the CLAIM ALL button above the tabs.

  3. The Employee's name will change to that of the employee claiming all the tabs. 

  4. Continue performing transactions.
