Create Tax Exempt Pricing


    1. Go to Customers in the left navigation bar

    2. Press + New Customer Group in the upper right corner 

    3. In the pop-up window, under TAX CLASS NAME, enter Tax Exempt.

    4. Under CUSTOM TAX ENABLED, select Enabled.

    5. Press Save Changes. 

    6. Go to Items in the left navigation bar.

    7. Press % Taxes in the upper right corner.

    8. Press the edit icon next to the tax class.

    9. Press Open customer group rates.

    10. In the field under TAX RATE FOR "TAX EXEMPT", enter 0.

    11. Press Save Changes. 

    12. Once you assign a customer to the Tax Exempt group, they will not be charged tax.
