Go to Items.
Press View Categories in the upper right corner.
Press Category Attributes in the upper right corner.
Press + New Category Attribute in the upper right corner.
In the field under ATTRIBUTE CODE(E.G., DRIVERS_LICENSE), enter the code location.
In the field under ATTRIBUTE NAME, enter the name Location or the name you want to appear to the user.
From the drop-down menu under CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE TYPE, select String.
From the drop-down menu under FRONTEND INPUT TYPE, choose Select.
An additional field will appear where you can press + Add New to add the names of the location that you want the user to choose from.
In the field under UI COLUMN SIZE IN POS, enter a value from 1-12. This value represents how wide the field is going to be and should be based on how many characters the average response will require. The most common values for Category Attributes are between 3 and 6.
Press Save Changes.
