1. One is connecting screen directly to the Android POS station. POS station then uses Presentation API to show content on the screen.

With option 1, all setup done in the backend, in Settings -> Devices -> Params(on the detected front screen device).

There are many options there to customize front facing screen:

Promo Heading and Promo Pic - this can be used to setup promo picture & text on the front facing display. Up to two headings & pics can be setup.

Bigger font - use this if font size for items is too small.

DO NOT SHOW ITEMS - only show the totals, do not show the items.

DO NOT SHOW SUBTOTAL/TAX - only show the Total, not subtotal or tax.

CUSTOM LINK BUTTON TEXT - you can customize the button to link a customer. Default text includes 'Loyalty', depending on the use case the linking of customer might not be related to customer loyalty - in this case, this parameter should be used to change the button default label.

2. 2nd option is a separate Android device which communicates to POS station via network.

For option two, a separate application needs to be installed - Pay and Display app.

Please note that that the redeem button and loyalty is controlled with settings that can be changed in the app itself. When you start app, there should be Loyalty setup button in Settings tab - that can be used to enable the Redeem button and loyalty elements. All other parameters should be setup the same way as for option 1.
