Create Web Status Attribute

    If you want to adjust a product's visibility on your online store, you must first create the web status attribute. Once you completed this step, you'll be able to make a product Visible, Not Visible, or Visible but not Salable.

    1. Go to Items.

    2. Press the Custom Attributes button in the upper right corner.

    3. Press + Add New Attribute in the upper right corner.

    4. Under ATTRIBUTE CODE, you must enter web_status.

    5. Under ATTRIBUTE NAME, name it Online Availability or Online Visibility.

    6. Under CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE TYPE, choose Product attribute / string from the dropdown menu.

    7. Under FRONTEND INPUT TYPE, choose Select from the dropdown menu.

    8. Under SELECT VALUES, press +Add New three times.

    9. Enter the following values:

      1. Under VALUE enter "active" and under LABEL enter Show or Display.

      2. Under the next VALUE, enter "hidden", and under LABEL enter Hide or Do Not Display.

      3. Under the next VALUE, enter "notsalable" and under LABEL enter Not Salable.

    10. Under UI COLUMN SIZE IN POS, enter a value between "3" and "5".

    11. Do not select anything under SHOW ON QUICK UPDATE FORM.

    12. Press Save Changes.
